FOOD PARCELS
WHY DOES ALEPH AND TAW DISTRIBUTE FOOD PARCELS AROUND THE WORLD?
Poverty in the world affects around 3.5 to 4 billion people, with nearly 700 million living in extreme poverty, surviving on less than $2.15 per day.
In the face of these alarming figures and the reality on the mission field, our heart is to help the most vulnerable and the sick. The vision of A&T is to care for the poorest countries by distributing food parcels that can feed a family for an entire month. These parcels often include hygiene products and, at times, clothing. But beyond this material aid, we take the opportunity to preach the Gospel. These people, often more open to receive, are nourished not only physically but also spiritually by our God.
In some places, such as prisons, we also distribute Bibles, giving hundreds of people the chance to encounter Jesus personally.
"For I hungered, and ye gave Me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took Me in; naked, and ye clothed Me; I was sick, and ye visited Me; I was in prison, and ye came unto Me."
Matthew 25:35-36
