MADAGASCAR - Antsirabe
Madagascar is a country marked by deep poverty, with nearly 80% of the population living below the poverty line. Access to basic services such as education, healthcare, and clean water remains limited, particularly in rural areas like Antsirabé.
On the spiritual level, although the Christian faith is widely practiced, it often coexists with traditional beliefs, such as animism. Many believe in spirits and perform rituals to protect themselves from misfortune. This situation requires a strong spiritual response through solid biblical teachings and evangelism that deeply touches hearts.
In this context, a first team of missionaries was sent to Madagascar to build a church and establish a link with the orphanage. From now on, each year, a team will travel there to consolidate and develop the already established work.
DURING THE FIRST MISSION, THE YOUNG MISSIONARIES WERE ABLE TO:
-
Church planting of a church, inaugurated in the presence of 300 people, including 60 new.
-
Evangelistic campaigns conducted in different cities where 4,000 people heard the Gospel.
-
A formerly closed school has reopened thanks to the commitment of Aleph & Taw and the support of Unity Church, which has enabled the reinstatement of five teachers and the reception of 130 children.
-
Brought the gospel and food to prison to 1,400 prisoners.
-
Distribution of food parcels to more than 300 families in precarious situations.
-
Cared for orphans by providing them with toys, clothing, and sharing the Good News of Jesus with them.
-
Medical consultations for 120 people.
CONCLUSION
This mission was marked by the powerful impact of the Gospel, reaching hundreds of people at each evangelistic campaign. We witnessed the power of God at work through deliverances, miracles, and transformed lives. We saw the blind receive sight and the deaf hear— all by the grace of God.
The mission was also shaped by the reopening of a school that had previously been forced to close due to a lack of funding and the inability to pay its teachers. Thanks to A&T and the support of Unity Church, the school resumed its activities, giving many children the opportunity to grow with stable and guided education.
In light of the immense essential needs, another highlight of this mission was the distribution of hundreds of food packages, as well as deeply moving encounters with orphans we were able to support. Every moment spent there was a clear demonstration of God’s love and mercy for this people.
DURING THE SECOND MISSION, THE YOUNG MISSIONARIES WERE ABLE TO:
-
Worship in the church "Grâce Church", established by A&T in 2023, with a service of 20 baptisms.
-
Continuation of work on the "Grâce Church" by carrying out the installation of the exterior plaster, painting and installation of the doors.
-
Worship in 7 other churches, mainly remote bush churches.
-
Gathering of several hundred young people from different churches in Antsirabé.
-
Two evangelizations in the street.
-
Participation in a meeting of pastors in Antsirabé to preach and distribute around a hundred books donated by the publishing house "Viens & Vois", as well as Bibles for small churches.
-
Distribution of food parcels and winter blankets to 30 children from 16 poor families.
-
Prison visit: preaching to 1,100 men, 67 minors and 110 women, with distribution of rice, laundry detergent, soap and Bibles to the women.
-
Visit to the rehabilitation center for young offenders, where we offered them lunch, then shared the Gospel and prayed for each of them.
-
Field trip with "Promise of Glory" school, supported by A&T and Unity Church in 2023. Meals and snacks were provided during an outing to a park.
-
Offered lunch and snacks to 100 unconverted children from the village, with preaching of the Gospel and prayer for each of them.
-
Purchase 2 beds and mattresses for the village of Manorina, as well as food supplements and powdered milk for malnourished children and infants.
-
Donations from France: clothing, toys, medicines, shoes, hygiene products, etc.
CONCLUSION
This first sustainability mission in Madagascar allowed us to improve the church established the previous year, continue the work of salvation, and strengthen our ties with the orphanage, the residents, and local authorities. The needs are immense, and our commitment is to make a difference. In every action we take, our goal is always to speak of the One who saves, loves, and restores.

We also donated school supplies: pencils, paper, slates, chalk, scissors, colored pencils, etc.
